Wedding search |
N.B. The tool only searches for names exactly as you entered them. If you can't find it, try varying your search method. Instead of searching by both the man's and the woman's names, search using only one of the names or try using different spellings of the name (e.g., Décarie, Descarries, etc.).
If a (+) appears next to a name in the marriage record and you click on it, you will have access to more information. (e.g., the parents' marriage record or information about their siblings.) Attention, the (+) are limited to three generations. When they do not appear, a new search must be initiated to find the parents' marriage. Note that currently only about 40% of marriages are linked to the marriage of their parents. If there is no (+), it does not mean that the marriage of this spouse's parents is not in the database.
Note: We would appreciate it if you could provide us with information and changes that could improve the quality of the data in our database. Please send us your comments and suggestions to the following email address: admin@quebecgen.ca
